About Chris
Chris Clough serves as worship pastor at Durham Evangelical Church in Durham, NH, where he has attended for over 18 years. He and his wife Kelly have five kids, 2 rabbits and a dog. He loves writing (and talking about writing) worship songs, and has contributed numerous songs to the corporate worship of his church. In addition to songwriting, Chris enjoys teaching on worship and various skills useful in the worship environment.
In 2004 the Lord stirred a passion in Chris' heart for the fatherless throughout the world. Identifying his own feelings of fatherlessness led him to a deep compassion and a growing understanding of the kinds of struggles unique to the fatherless.
In July of 2006 Chris was invited to travel to Uganda to witness firsthand the devastation created by 20 years of war - an experience which broadened Chris' perspective on the fatherless, but also demonstrated the common role fathers play worldwide in the lives of their families.
It's his greatest hope to faithfully father his own family, and to support and minister to the fatherless. It's Chris' deep conviction that the only true hope for the fatherless is in discovering their Heavenly Father's love, and that only the miraculous work of God can bring the necessary healing and help those at-risk to remain lovingly fathered.
